Principal's Message

Hello Amana Elementary!

Welcome to the 2025-2026 school year! I’m excited to be “back home” at Amana Elementary. I started at Clear Creek Amana in the fall of 1996. I was at Amana Elementary as the PK-8 principal through the 2008-2009 school year. During the fall of 2009 I moved with the middle school to Tiffin as the 6-8 principal and will continue in that role as well during this upcoming school year. 

Amana Elementary and Clear Creek Amana hold a special place in my heart. All three of my children attended Amana Elementary from PK-5th grade and graduated from CCA.  My wife has worked at Amana Elementary for many years and is currently the Amana Elementary Librarian. We also make our home in Amana. It’s great to be back! 

Mr. Macumber and I have worked together for over 25 years and he’s been a great resource during this transition. I look forward to working with the outstanding students, parents, staff, and community at Amana Elementary! We can all work together to make sure the students continue to grow socially and academically. 

I’m excited to reconnect with many of you and meet some new folks as well. Please don’t ever hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns. I’m here to serve all.
